What is a Giving Circle?
A Giving Circle is a group of people who are motivated by their shared values to build an active network that pools their time, talent, treasure and testimony. Among them, they multiply these resources and their scope, giving them to grantees in order to strategically invest in the community.
We recognize, value, mobilize and invest philanthropic resources:
We’re located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas. The region we serve falls within a 150 km radius around the city in the Chiapas Highlands, both in rural and urban areas. Accordingly, the program’s grantee projects are also located within this same region.
Our Giving Circles work by means of four simple steps, which are all continuously supported by the Community Philanthropy team’s logistical, administrative and educational accompaniment.
